Keyshia Cole is an American R&B singer-songwriter and reality television personality with an estimated net worth of $9.5 million. The singer is 5’2″ and weighs 117 pounds. Keyshia Cole was born on October 15, 1981 in Oakland, California and began a love for music as a child. At age eighteen, the aspiring singer moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music and a short time later began a mentorship with legendary A&M Records exec Ron Fair. The songstress’s first single “Never”, was released in 2004 on the soundtrack for the film Barbershop 2: Back to Business.

Keyshia’s debut album The Way It Is was released in 2005 to platinum sales and spawning several chart-topping singles including “(I Just Want It) To Be Over”, “I Changed My Mind” and platinum selling hit “Love.” The singer’s sophomore album Just Like You soon followed becoming her most notable work to date earning two No. 1 singles, “Heaven Sent” and “Remember. “ Over the next few years, Keyshia released three more albums including A Different Me (2008), Calling all Hearts (2010) and 2012’s Woman to Woman and received numerous honors for her work in music including four Grammy nominations and an ASCAP Award for R&B/Hip Hop Song.

Also, an accomplished songwriter Keyshia has written songs for a number of movie soundtracks including Step Up (2006), Hair Show (2004) and Biker Boyz (2003). Outside of music, the singer has starred in BET reality TV shows Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is (2006-2008) and Keyshia & Daniel: Family First.  She is currently busy working on her sixth studio album which is scheduled to be released in 2014. The singer is married to former NBA player Daniel Gibson since 2011 and the couple has one child, son Daniel Hiram Gibson, Jr. born in 2010.
