Canadian former professional ice hockey player, Theoren Fleury has an estimated net worth of $30 million. Theoren currently plays for the Calgary Flames, Colorado Avalanche, New York Rangers, and Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League (NHL), Tappara of Finland’s SM-liiga, and the Belfast Giants of the UK’s Elite Ice Hockey League.
Despite his small size, Theoren Fleury was able to make over 1000 points in his entire career. He was also able to win the Stanley Cup in 1989 while playing for Calgary Flames. His drug and alcohol addiction kicked him out of the NHL. He attempted to come back with the Flames in 2005-2006. His unsuccessful comeback forced him to retire in 2009.
He is the co-author of a best-selling biography titled “Playing with Fire”. He revealed that he was sexually abused by his former coach, Graham Jones, who plead guilty of sexual assault later on. Today, he is an active advocate for sexually abused individuals.
