Yandy Smith began her professional career working in the entertainment industry as an Executive Assistant at Violator Management. Her clients included such high-profile musicians and entertainers as Missy Elliot, 50 Cent, and LL Cool J. She subsequently became Jim Jones’ manager, and ultimately decided to leave Violater. This led to a job with Warner Music Group/Atlantic Records, as a consultant. After working with both Warner Music and Columbia, she rejoined her former boss, Mona Scott-Young from Violater at Monami Entertainment, where she now serves as a talent agent. She was named one of Billboard Magazine’s “Top 30 Executives Under 30” in 2008, and is also the President and Brand Manager of Everything Girls Love, a lifestyle brand of which she is also part-owner. She joined the cast of “Love and Hip Hop” in its second season.
