Justin Gatlin was born on February 10, 1982 in Brooklyn, New York but grew up in Florida. He attended Woodham High School in Pensacola, Florida. He arrived at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville for two years as a good high school 110 m hurdler. He won six NCAA titles then he turned professional.
