Jimmy began working in radio before he graduated from high school. He dropped out of the Arizona State University so that he could focus on radio work full time, his first love. Kimmel then dated the comedian Sarah Silverman for seven years, but they split in 2009. He dated Molly McNearney, the co-head writer for Jimmy Kimmel Live. Kimmel and McNearney got engaged in August 2012.
