Sacha Baron Cohen is an actor, writer and a stand-up comedian with an estimated net worth of $100 million. Born in Hammersmith, London and a graduated of Cambridge University, Sacha Baron Cohen started off by hosting a weekly program in the early 1900’s. He followed this up with hosting Pump TV from 1995-96 and presenting a youth chat program called F2F. His first feature film appearance was a British comedy called The Jolly Boy’s Last Stand. His most famous roles were the characters of Ali G, Borat, Bruno and General Aladeen, all of which that he wrote himself. These routines were usually filmed on the streets with unsuspecting audience being a part of the performance. He also voiced a character in the hit movie series, Madagascar.
A glittering career that began with a Best Newcomer award received at the British Comedy Awards in 1999, he also received two BAFTA awards following his performances in The Ali G Show. This was followed by several Emmy nominations, an Academy Award nomination for Borat and a Golden Globe for best actor. He also received an Outstanding Achievement Award at the British Comedy Awards in the year 2012.
