Kenneth Joel Hotz, popularly known as Kenny Hotz, is a Canadian comedian and producer, a former South Park consultant, and also a writer. He is best known for being the creator and the star of the Comedy Central television show, “Kenny vs. Spenny”, and also the writer and creator of the FX series “Testees”. He is also the creator of “Kenny Hotz’s Triumph of the Will”.
Kenny Hotz was born on 3rd May, 1967 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He went to the Forest Hill Collegiate Institute. Soon after he graduated from the high school, he began as a documentary filmmaker and news photographer. Hotz was the only registered Canadian artist to officially photograph the Gulf War. He graduated from the Ryerson University and worked as a columnist for Vice. While he was working as a columnist, he won the publication’s “Best Fiction Article of the Year” Award in 2006.
Kenny Hotz was the writer, producer, director, cinematographer, and editor of the short film “It Don’t Cost Nothin’ to Say Good Morning”. He is also the co-writer of an episode of “Ninja Turtles”. The documentary “Pitch”, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in 1997, was created by him. Kenny also starred in it with Rice. Rice is his writing partner and also a childhood friend. Al Pacino, Samuel Z. Arkoff and Neil also played cameos in this film.
In 2012, Hotz signed a deal with Google for producing Canada’s first premium YouTube comedy channel. He also produced comic content for an Advertisement agency. He is the owner of “The Hoxton” and also the “Dog & Bear” restaurant and bars in Toronto.
